Disastrous Flying Critters

Help the Rainbow Witch Princess save the kingdom from the Disastrous Flying Critters trying to destroy it! Fly around the kingdoms, close the portals with your color changing magic, and restore the terrain to the correct hue.

Keys:

* Z / (A on gamepad) - Shoot

* X / (B on gamepad) - Change color 

* A - Reverse color

Gameplay

You can defeat enemies with magic blasts or your magic slippers (jumping on 'em). Enemies are immune to their own color and will paint anything they touch with it (including you!)

You can fly through blocks that are your color, allowing you to access areas you might not be able to get to otherwise.

I worked with my daughters Fiona and Ada on the concepts and playtesting for this game.

Prior Work

I spent some time familiarizing myself with Fennel and Tic80 building a bit of a UI framework ahead of the jam that I used a bit in the game.
